Ian Cullen - Director and Co-Founder
Ian founded Target 250 in 2001 with Chris Whife after working as a Sales Executive for Evoke Software where he was responsible for generating new business sales within global 2000 accounts.
Prior to Evoke Software Ian worked for UK Services Company Cassium where he specialised in developing new business sales pipeline for the company. Cassium was founded and led by the former UK Senior Management Team of Chicago based firm MarchFIRST.
Ian started his career with Whittman-Hart / marchFIRST on their graduate placement programme in 1999. Prior to this Ian graduated with a BA Honours degree in Business from Anglia University, Cambridge.
Chris Whife - Director and Co-Founder
Chris founded Target 250 in 2001 after working with Ian Cullen as a Sales Executive at Evoke Software. It was at Evoke that Chris experienced the challenge of quality demand generation in the enterprise technology marketplace.
Prior to Evoke Software Chris started his career based in Moscow for a banking automation company. Working on trading floor voice and technology projects for numerous investment banks and brokers including; Chase Manhattan Bank, Deutsche Bank, DLJ, DRKW, Tradition and Morgan Stanley becoming fully qualified on IPC Dealer board systems.
After returning to London Chris went on to work at Chase Manhattan’s London headquarters as a Trading Floor Support Engineer. At the time Chris was one of the youngest IT Contractors ever to work at Chase at the age of only 19. From there Chris moved on to work for Enron Europe as an IT Specialist before leaving to pursue a career in software sales at Evoke.
Mike Roberts - Finance Director
Mike was previously Group Financial Director to a blue chip FMCG consultancy. His other positions include Finance Director and Company Secretary to a VC backed software developer securing an initial investment of £5m.
Mike is a resourceful, enterprising, entrepreneurial Finance Professional; able to identify and evaluate financial business drivers and produce strategic financial plans, budgets and forecasts. He has proven leadership skills, including managing and motivating others to achieve corporate targets. Mike also has strong and effective analytical and problem solving skills, with an in-depth knowledge and expertise in financial systems and devising new business models.
Mike is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants and a Registered Auditor under the UK Companies Act.
William Brossler – Sales Director
William is responsible for driving Target 250's sales strategy and execution throughout the UK and Europe as well as having close contact with the US team on global deals and campaigns.
William is a long standing employee of Target 250, joining in 2003 with an extensive sales and marketing background. Having worked in all areas of Target 250’s business William brings a wealth of strategic and operational experience to the fore when engaging with developing client accounts.
William holds an honours business degree from Sheffield Hallam University.
Gareth Morris – Operations Director
Gareth joined Target 250 in 2003; initially responsible for delivering qualified sales leads; and constantly exceeding client expectations, Gareth has been instrumental in the continuous development & success of Target 250’s ever expanding ability to deliver new business leads to its clients on a global scale.
Gareth is now responsible for the continuous improvement of the business, focusing on key areas of internal processes covering HR, Finance, Business Development, Quality Assurance & Strategy. Gareth is also responsible for driving new business service lines as Target 250 continues to expand and assist its customers in new ways.
Gareth graduated from the University of Leeds in 2001 with a BA Honours degree in Japanese and East Asian Studies.
Michael Whife – President - US Operations
Michael has built up considerable experience and reputation as a dedicated and enthusiastic professional in the Banking & Technology sector. He has a proven track record in developing new markets whilst building a solid foundation for long term growth.
Michael was CEO for e-Vantage; a Middleware Software company with operations in both the UK and US. Prior to this he was CEO and Founder of Vega Technologies (Moscow, Russia).
Prior to Michael's move into commercial IT he was IT Director for Renaissance Capital in Moscow, as well as prior Technology based positions with both Swiss Bank Corporation and Credit Suisse Financial Products.
Shreyas Naik – IT Director
Shreyas has been responsible for the IT operations of Target 250 since the company was founded and continues to pursue a vision of 'fit-for-purpose', effective business systems that are easy to manage and evolve in line with business requirements.
With over 15 years experience dealing with complex enterprise IT environments for the Financial Services industry; predominantly associated with IT infrastructure design and implementation, he has become an acknowledged expert on "Innovative Market Models" and collaboration architectures for SMEs.
Previous clients include Dresdner Kleinwort, Credit Suisse, Bankers Trust, ING Barings, Barclays Capital, Microsoft and IBM. In 1999 Shreyas co-founded a first-to-market consultancy for middleware technologies, taking it from inception to first-stage venture capital funding.
David Clift - HR Manager
David is responsible for the international strategic management of resources and organisational design which includes the full employee lifecycle at Target 250 from recruitment through to career development and planning; as well as payroll, internal communications, all procedures & policies and health & safety.
