Target 250 Announces the appointment of Matt Conway and the Opening of its Operations in Toronto, Canada

1st October 2009 - Toronto, Canada – Target 250 proudly announces the opening of its newest office in Toronto, Canada and the appointment of Matt Conway. The new location enables the firm to strengthen its relationships with clients and partners in the region and continue providing high quality outbound sales solutions to the technology marketplace.

Matt is an experienced “go to market” executive, with a track record of over achievement - accelerating the time to market, revenues and profitability of high tech, new media and service providers.
He joins us from POIfriend where Bill McLean, CEO/Founder had this comment “In the time that I have worked with Matt, he has proven himself to be very adept at accelerating the speed to reaching new prospective clients of our company. In particular, Matt has exceptional skills in opening the doors with senior-level decision makers. Prior to POIfriend Inc Matt worked for Skinkers Ltd (a Microsoft participated company) where he was Head of Sales and part of the management board. Microsoft took a 10% equity stake in Skinkers in 2006 as a result of the major brands that Skinkers signed up during that period.

Prior to Skinkers, Matt worked as Head of Sales for Channel Dynamics (CDL), the Market Engagement Strategy consultancy and UK affiliate of Geoffrey Moore’s The Chasm Group, of ‘Crossing the Chasm’ fame - selling consulting services to companies such as Xerox, HP, Hutchison 3G, Microsoft, Cisco.

Matt joined CDL from Nokia where he was a divisional board serving General Manager for Nokia Home Communications, working across various business groups within Nokia Ventures Organisation. Matt was responsible for launching new concepts, sales and marketing, alliances, industry initiatives, regional roll outs, business planning and restructuring.

Matt has also held General Management, Sales and Marketing roles in Internet Application and Internet Advertising vendors and has also worked in Executive Recruitment. He started his career in Fast Moving Consumer Goods.

Matt has a BA Hons in International Development Studies, enjoys fitness and rugby and spending time in the great Canadian outdoors with his young family.
