Trend Micro expands relationship with Target 250

Target 250 today announced that Trend Micro, a leader in network antivirus and content security and services, is to extend its relationship with the company for a full year, following continued success with Target 250’s “Pay for Performance” demand generation services.

The new commitment cements the strong relationship between the two companies and demonstrates that Target 250 delivers impressive and measurable results by working closely with its customers to understand their unique value proposition and how it can be communicated to potential customers.

“Target 250’s specific experience and knowledge of the IT security sector, combined with the fact you only pay for what you get, was hugely appealing in our initial selection of the company,” said Tony Larks, Marketing Manager, UK & Ireland, Trend Micro. “Our relationship has since gone from strength to strength and the team there has worked closely with us, becoming a key part of our enterprise marketing mix. In Q1 alone, Target 250 helped Trend Micro generate over £1m worth of business.”

In addition to demand generation services, Target 250 ran a pilot graduate recruitment and training programme for Trend Micro, which subsequently adopted the team into its own sales-force. Target 250 has also provided data profiling services to the company.

“We are delighted that Trend Micro has chosen to commit for a year and it is further evidence of how confident companies are in our unique business model,” said Ian Cullen, Director, Target 250.
